Dr. Frederic Vagnini 
M.D., F.A.C.

Dr. Vagnini has been a designate “Fellow” in the American College of Surgeons. An institution founded in 1913 as a scientific and educational association of surgeons. Their goal is to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice. It is the largest organization of surgeons in the world.

For over 35 year, Dr. Vagnini practiced as a heart, lung and blood vessel surgeon. He has operated on thousands of patients with heart and blood vessel disease. Dr. Vagnini also became interested in Health Education, Preventive Medicine and Clinical Nutrition. Because of his vast experience in the area of heart disease and nutrition he became a frequent guest speaker and has appeared many times on local and national radio and television in the U.S. He presently hosts a live call talk show called “The Heart Show” and airs New York from 4-5 PM every Sunday. He formerly hosted a national health show on Fox Television.

Dr. Vagnini has written hundreds of articles on Health Education in the lay literature and has numerous scientific publications like the monthly newsletter “Cardiovascular Wellness Newsletter” which covers current health news issues with appropriate commentary. Dr. Vagnini is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, an active, highly respected member of over 20 medical societies, including:

Dr. Donald E. Kendall 
O.M.D., PH.D., Lac. (License Acupuncturist)

Dr. Donald (Deke) Kendall graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Aerospace engineering and was once responsible of putting up satellites in Space. After his retirement from TRW, He became a nutritionalist and then a stress therapist. He is also a recognized Go Master.

He became involved with Chinese medicine and adopted the use of Chinese herbs as his primary health care strategy. This led to the study of physiology and Chinese medicine, culminating in a degree from the California Acupuncture College as Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.) He has since fully incorporated the principles and practices of this ancient healing art into his life. He is now considered one of America’s leading experts on Chinese medicine, with more than 30 years of private clinical experience, including acupuncture research at the UCLA dental school and as a staff member at the UCLA’s Center for East-West Medicine.

Dr. Kendall has also served on the boards of several state and national professional organizations for acupuncture and Oriental medicine. He has developed and taught acupuncture orthopedics and dental acupuncture certification courses, and has participated in veterinary medical acupuncture training programs. He lectures extensively around the United States, as well as internationally, and has published a number of articles on various aspects of Chinese medicine, with an emphasis on how acupuncture works. His book “DAO of Chinese Medicine” represents a large part of his experience, expertise, and enthusiasm.
